Why Should You Use Social Media As A Business Tool – Small Business

This quote from the book “Who Moved My Cheese” warns people not to get complacent in their job, to be aware of signs that things could be changing, that the company could be in trouble and jobs could be lost.

While meditating last week, I received my divine inspiration for a book, and also turning that idea into a global project and movement. I’m just getting this off the ground.

The real issue, as far as the LinkedIn account is concerned, are the contacts it has. When Eagle left, the company immediately changed her profile to hold the name of another employee and their photograph. This was what started the lawsuit. The company claimed ownership of the account, but was not claiming ownership over Eagle’s likeness or profile, just her contacts list, it appears.

The most important thing to remember when it comes to social media marketing is that you want to create an interesting and unique content. It is a kind of content what people will want to share with their friends and followers on their this blog profile. Create content that is informative and interesting, otherwise nobody will want to share it. Interesting content will drive the attention of your fans and followers. They will most likely want to share it, which will increase your chances to get more followers and potential customers.

In your social media profiles, include links back to your website, or to your blog. Link Facebook to Twitter and vice versa. There are lots of options.

Layer your keyword(s), then into your blog post. Be careful not to overdo it. Search engines frown on keyword stuffing. If you have too many of the same term Google will sense social media profiles that is your action and will punish you in the rankings. Just a handful of keyword mentions (two or three) can do the job. Make sure you include the keyword in your title and your meta description as well.

Fill out your profile extensively. Ensure that you include as much information regarding your company as possible. Include links to your website and other online accounts as well as clear and concise information about what your company offers. Also include all contact information so that it is easy to reach your company.

Internet marketing is huge, and dare I say saturated, but mobile marketing is a segment that is thriving right at this moment. As long as you have a smartphone, you have a money making tool right at your fingertips. Don’t miss out on this. Trends only stay new for a while.
