Blogs were originally only meant to be ‘Web Logs’, or personal journals for members of on-line communities to stay in touch, sort of like ‘underground news media’. But, it didn’t take long for net-repreneurs (internet entrepreneurs) to catch on to their popularity and to find ways to use them to make money. The human mind is infinitely creative and nothing really stays the same.

The first rule about blogging is to make friends. Despite the fact that some blogs are actually corporate, serious and professional in their approach, most blogs these days are friendly and personal. After thinking about your human visitors, though, think about the robotic ones. Be sure to stay on topic and have keyword rich entries if you want search engine spiders to visit often.
